BAHASA KOREA:

Bahasa Korea menggunakan alphabet Hangul yang mengandungi 40 huruf ( 21 vowels dan 19 consonants ). Vowels dan consonants dicamtumkan menjadi syllables. Syllables sekurang-kurangnya mempunyai dua huruf dan tidak melebihi empat huruf.

Orang bukan Korea yang membaca subtitle drama Korea dalam bahasa English tidak akan dapat mengecam cara percakapan orang Korea melalui drama. Dari masa ke semasa, satu karakter dalam drama akan beritahu karakter yang lain untuk bercakap secara formal atau tidak formal. Ini adalah kerana Korea mempunyai empat cara bercakap: formal, tidak formal tapi bersopan, tidak formal dan mesra.

Cara formal digunakan untuk menunjukkan rasa hormat dan ketika bercakap dengan orang yang tidak dikenali.

Cara tidak formal yang bersopan pula digunakan ketika bercakap dengan orang yang dikenali tetapi hendaklah ditunjukkan rasa hormat terutamanya ketika bercakap dengan orang yang lebih tua dan berpangkat. Begitu juga ketika perempuan atau remaja bercakap dengan orang yang tidak dikenali.

Verb to be - 'i da'

"i da' is the form which links a subject with tits predicate, indicating equality or identification. It is form is attached to the noun, there can be no pause or space between it and the noun. It is pronounced like a part of the Noun. It has two different forms
